People add lots of different fruits and berries to their mixed drinks. But how often do you see kiwi cocktails on the menu?

If you head to a bar, you’ll see lots of lemon and lime wedges, maybe some orange slices, and a few maraschino cherries.

Kiwis, though? Not so much.

But I think it’s time we change that! So grab a few ripe kiwis and get ready to fall in love.

1. Kiwi Mint Mojitos

If you’re looking for a way to ease yourself into kiwi-flavored drinks, start with the kiwi mint mojito.

Honestly, it’s not a vastly significant change from the regular mojito.

The primary flavors that come through are the rum and the mint, and the kiwi is just a lightly sweet taste in the background.

2. Kiwi Martini

All you’ll need to make the kiwi martini is vodka, sugar syrup, and fresh kiwi.

It takes about 2 minutes and leaves you with a lovely green drink with a robust boozy kiwi taste.

Plus, you’ll add plenty of fresh kiwi slices to the drink, and eating them when you finish it is a real treat.

3. Kiwi Caipiroska

The kiwi caipiroska is one of the lightest, most refreshing alcoholic beverages you’ll ever consume.

I don’t know how, but the kiwi and mint in this drink completely mask the vodka.

Let’s be honest, as much as we like cocktails, most alcohol is bitter and abrasive. It’s not something most people enjoy drinking for the taste.

But with this drink, you won’t taste it at all.

It’s like drinking the freshest, cleanest mint water you’ve ever had, and there’s only a light sweetness from the kiwi and lime. It’s superb.

4. Green Goddess Kiwi Cocktail

It’s hard to decide which is more impressive – the way this drink looks or the way it tastes.

It’s a lovely addition to any table, but the lightly sweet, somewhat floral taste is also incredible.

Plus, you can whip it up in only 5 minutes, which is always nice.

5. Kiwi Daiquiri

This thick, slushy drink is sweetly tart and entirely tropical.

The kiwi pairs flawlessly with the rum and lime juice, and unless you like your drinks extraordinarily sweet, you may not even need the sugar.

I find the taste to be perfectly yummy without it.

6. Kiwi Margarita

Okay, I realize this drink may look a bit like dirty pond water, but the flavor is complex and insanely delicious.

It somehow manages to be sweet, tart, and zesty all at once.

The unattractive color comes from mixing chunks of muddled kiwi with lime juice, tequila, and orange liqueur.

However, though the colors aren’t complimentary, the flavors certainly are.

Add in a dash of simple syrup to help tone down the tanginess, and you’ll soon be making another.

7. Kiwi Kirsch Crush

This simple, four-ingredient cocktail tastes great and smells even better. It’s easy to make with vodka, kirsch, simple syrup, and a kiwi.

Its flavor is more tart than sweet, but you’ll get just a hint of the vodka.

It’s green and chunky (thanks to the muddled kiwi) and tastes best on ice.

8. Kiwi Caipirinha Cocktail

All you’ll need for this sweet, sugary cocktail is a kiwi, a lime, and two ounces of cachaça, Brazil’s most popular liquor.

The drink is sweet enough for most people as-is, but if you want to double down on the sugar factor, add some California honey, as well.

9. Strawberry Kiwi Agua Fresca Cocktail

If I could use only two words to describe this cocktail, they would be ‘fruity’ and ‘slushy.’

Oh! And ‘red’! Believe it or not, this kiwi cocktail isn’t green.

However, like all the others, it’s sweet and easy to make. You’ll need a cup each of peeled, sliced kiwi and hulled strawberries.

Mix them with some lime juice, white rum, triple sec, agave syrup, and ice in a blender and puree until you get the thick, icy consistency you want.

Be careful, though. This drink is more potent than most people realize, and its delightful fruity taste means they come back for more and get drunker than they mean to before they know it.

10. Watermelon Kiwi Prosecco Punch

Perhaps the only fruit that tastes better with kiwi than strawberries is watermelon.

If you agree, then this watermelon kiwi prosecco punch is probably the drink for you.

All it needs is cubed watermelon, peeled kiwi, a bottle of prosecco, and some watermelon vodka.

It’s light and fruity, and the watermelon flavor comes through strongly.

If you prefer your kiwi-watermelon combination to be kiwi heavy, I suggest cutting back a bit on the watermelon.

Otherwise, you might get more of it than you like.
