20 Easy Latte Recipes To Up Your Coffee Game

You don’t need to be a barista to make these easy latte recipes. They’re straightforward, tasty, and cost a fraction of what they charge in a coffee house.

In fact, with the right ingredients, you might never need to rush to Starbucks again.

20 Unique Latte Flavors To Try at Home

This list is full of popular latte flavors.

So, if you’re craving a seasonal coffee drink in the middle of June or just need something other than a standard cup of Joe, you’ve come to the right place!

Thanks to these latte recipes, you can kiss goodbye to those small, weak, $5 cups of coffee.

1. Starbucks Vanilla Latte

I’ve always been a vanilla latte lover, and now I can make it at home in my PJs!

All you need is some espresso and a few simple ingredients. Of course, since it’s the start of the show, be sure to get good-quality vanilla syrup.

Add the syrup to a glass or mug before pouring the hot coffee. Then, top it with your milk of choice and stir!

If you want a healthier Starbucks copycat, feel free to use almond milk.

2. Easy Caramel Latte

Caramel lattes are my favorites. Unlike the vanilla latte above, there’s more complexity when you use caramel.

It’s still sweet, but that flavor is deeper and more pronounced. And luckily, you only need four simple ingredients for this recipe.

Be sure to heat the caramel, milk, and sugar before adding them to the espresso.

And if you’re wondering about ordering a cappuccino vs. latte, just know that the latter is lighter with more milk. Easy peasy.

3. Pumpkin Spice Latte

If you’re anything like me, you count down to PSL season every year.

Well, now we don’t have to. Instead, we can enjoy this incredible pumpkin spice latte year-round!

This cozy Fall favorite is even made with real pumpkin puree! Combined with milk, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice, it’s a craveable classic.

I prefer this with coffee rather than espresso. But that’s just my preference. Either way, it’s easily one of the best on the list.

(If you’re curious about the different types, check out my post, “What Is Espresso?”)

4. Baileys Latte

If your ideal latte is a little more adult, this recipe is for you.

Bailey’s Irish Cream adds just the right amount of boozy goodness while keeping the latte creamy and delicious.

You only need four ingredients to make this brunch-time pick-me-up or after-dinner latte.

5. Peppermint Mocha Latte

The peppermint mocha is to winter what the PSL is to fall. It’s minty, refreshing, and loaded with chocolatey deliciousness.

It’s seriously good no matter what time of year you choose to make it

Just heat cocoa powder and milk, and then add espresso and peppermint syrup.

Trust me, it’s so simple and tasty, you might enjoy it far into the New Year.

6. Chai Tea Latte

If you aren’t a coffee drinker but still want to enjoy a warm and creamy beverage, this chai latte is for you.

Beautifully spiced and beyond delicious, chai is even more addictive when paired with sweet cream.

The key is making chai concentrate. That way, the flavors stay prominent when milk is added.

7. Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte

Matcha is made from tea leaves shaded at the end of their growth.

This causes them to produce more chlorophyll, giving them a bright green color.

Combine matcha powder with milk in a blender, and you’ve got one vibrant drink!

You’ll need a blender because the powder is so fine, it tends to clump up when stirred into a cold liquid.

Once the matcha and milk mixture is blended and creamy, just add ice and enjoy!

8. Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Sweet cinnamon flavors in a creamy latte are what fall dreams are made of. This one is so good, I keep the ingredients on hand at all times.

I love the spicy cinnamon with the sweetness from brown and white sugars. It’s warm, caramelly, and delightful.

The best part is the syrup will keep in the fridge for a while, so you can indulge for days to come.

9. Iced Vanilla Latte

This vanilla latte is another copycat recipe, and you only need three ingredients!

I know plenty of people who prefer iced coffee over hot, even in the winter (it’s me… I’m “people”). But this recipe is especially delish in the summer

I prefer to use cold brew for this latte because it’s smoother and less bitter. But you do you.

10. Iced Brown Sugar Latte

I am hooked on this iced brown sugar latte.

Shake up the espresso and vanilla brown sugar syrup for a sweet touch you’ll crave again and again.

This delicious drink also has a few dashes of cinnamon for a hint of spice.

It’s creamy, sweet, and just about everything you could want in an iced latte.

11. Mocha Latte

This mocha latte is creamy, rich, and oh-so-chocolatey. It is a heavenly beverage that will keep you cozy and satisfied.

Combine coffee with chocolate, and then add milk and heavy cream. The heavy cream makes it extra creamy, but you could always just use regular milk.

This latte is near perfect. The only thing that could improve it is a topping of luscious whipped cream.

12. Chocolate Hazelnut Latte

I think this Nutella-inspired latte is spectacular.

Hazelnut and chocolate are already popular coffee flavors. So, why wouldn’t you combine the two?

Quick and easy to make, you only need to stir some Nutella, vanilla, and sea salt into hot espresso. Then, top with your choice of milk, and enjoy!

13. White Chocolate Latte

This white chocolate latte is such a fantastic pick-me-up. It’s so delicious that it’s hard to believe you can make it at home.

White chocolate has a sweet and distinctly creamy flavor. Just what you need in a creamy latte.

The coffee is strong and balances the sweet white chocolate perfectly.

Vanilla gives this latte another layer of rich flavor that I can’t get enough of. Serve this on a cold, rainy day for a cozy treat.

14. Gingerbread Latte

Here’s another super cozy drink that’s popular around the holidays.

Of course, you don’t have to wait until winter to enjoy this drink – just make it at home when the craving strikes.

You’ll make a wonderful gingerbread simple syrup with tons of warm and festive flavors.

Top with whipped cream for a sweet and creamy finish.

15. Starbucks Maple Pecan Latte

This maple and pecan latte is another seasonal favorite I happily enjoy in the height of summer.

Sweet maple flavors and crunchy, buttery pecans come together in one buzz-worthy latte.

I love this flavor combination because it effortlessly elevates the coffee and milk to another delicious level.

Top-tip: use candied or sugared pecans for the topping. Yum!

16. Salted Caramel Mocha Latte

Gooey caramel gets my attention almost every time I see it in a recipe. Add salt to it, and I’m all in!

This salted caramel mocha has flavors of chocolate and caramel enhanced with a touch of salt. It’s easy but crazy-delish.

This recipe is a must-make for anyone with a sweet tooth.

17. Iced Mocha Latte

Homemade chocolate syrup makes this one of the best iced mochas I have ever tried.

It’s creamy, chocolatey, and refreshingly cool.

Use your favorite coffee or try cold brew for a cleaner taste. I like a strong cold brew, so you still taste it with the chocolate.

Combine all the ingredients for a barista-quality latte at home!

18. Butterscotch Latte

Smoked butterscotch lattes are definitely unique and 100% delicious. The unusual smokey flavor is subtle but adds a fabulous layer of flavor to the latte.

Meanwhile, butterscotch is a terrific sweet addition to the otherwise bitter coffee.

The milk and whipped cream provide a perfect amount of creaminess that makes this latte feel like dessert.

Use liquid smoke to add a distinct smokey flavor. It’s a super exciting ingredient that yields something you’ll adore.

Other than the Starbucks pistachio latte, this is my favorite drink to serve at winter brunch.

19. Eggnog Latte

If you like eggnog, this will be your favorite festive drink for the holiday season.

Unfortunately, this one is a bit harder to enjoy year-round unless you make eggnog from scratch.

Find good quality egg nog and steam it with some milk. Then, add it to your favorite coffee or espresso with brown sugar and nutmeg on top.

This is a holiday drink sent from heaven!

20. S’mores Latte

This delectable drink features a toasted marshmallow syrup that is *chef’s kiss*.

Coffee, chocolate syrup, and marshmallow syrup combine before adding milk to create one fabulous caffe latte.

It’s so creamy and flavorful, and I highly recommend taking that extra step to toast the marshmallows – you will not regret it.
