20 Best Low-Carb Keto Desserts

These 20 low-carb keto desserts prove that desserts can be sweet, delicious, decadent, and low in carbs all at once.

Just because you’re on the keto diet doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy things like hot chocolate, fudge, brownies, and even cheesecake.

You just have to learn to do it with the right ingredients and portion sizes. These recipes are a great place to start.

So if you’re looking for ways to sweeten your life without knocking yourself out of ketosis, give these recipes a try.

1. Keto Cheesecake

For this creamy cheesecake, all you’ll need is cream cheese, keto-friendly yogurt, and your favorite sugar substitute. I like to use Stevia.

You’ll also need almond flour, vanilla extract, and lemon juice.

You can even save yourself some time and effort by buying one of many premade keto-friendly pie crusts from the grocery store.

It takes a little less than an hour to make, and each slice has only 1.5 net carbs. Unbeatable!

2. Keto Pecan Pralines

These pecan pralines have it all – sweetness from the vanilla and cream and a touch of saltiness from the salt and pecans.

Plus, they’re keto-friendly, sugar-, gluten-, and dairy-free.

3. Keto Chocolate Mousse

All you’ll need to make this delicious chocolate mousse are four ingredients and about 10 minutes.

First, you’ll hand-mix the heavy whipping cream until it thickens, then add the cocoa powder and sweetener.

Finally, add the optional almond extract and top with dark chocolate.

4. Keto Cheesecake Mousse

Cheesecake mousse is just as easy to make as the chocolate, but if you’re a cheesecake lover, you’ll much prefer this one.

Plus, it only has two total carbs per serving!

5. Keto Brownies

Of all the desserts on this list, these taste the most like “normal” desserts.

Don’t get me wrong; all of them are delicious, and most taste almost just like their non-keto counterparts.

With these brownies, though, you won’t be able to tell the difference.

The combination of pink Himalayan salt, unsweetened cocoa powder, and baker’s chocolate creates the perfect brownie flavor.

Even the most discerning brownie tasters (i.e., kids) won’t know the difference.

6. Keto Birthday Cake

If there’s one day of the year you won’t want to miss out on cake, it’s your birthday.

With this sugar- and gluten-free keto cake, you won’t!

The secret is to use the perfect ratio of coconut and almond flour and add plenty of butter.

This fluffy, moist cake will be your favorite birthday present to yourself.

7. Keto Chocolate Cake

If you prefer chocolate birthday cake, check out this recipe instead.

It’s soft, moist, and unbelievably rich. It’s hard to believe it isn’t “the real thing.”

It takes about 45 minutes to cook, but if you’re a sucker for chocolate, this is the dessert for you.

8. Keto Ice Cream

I love recipes that call for fewer than five ingredients. This one takes only four – coconut milk, salt, your chosen sweetener, and vanilla extract.

You can also add some unsweetened baker’s chocolate or cocoa powder if you prefer chocolate ice cream.

9. Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies

Totally sugar-free and containing only 2.1 net carbs per cookie, these are a great after-dinner treat.

They’re also soft, moist, and full of gooey, chocolatey goodness.

The cookies are delightfully buttery, and they taste like the perfect mix between chocolate chip cookies and shortbread/butter cookies.

10. Keto Lemon Pound Cake

If you like dense cake with sweet, somewhat crispy icing and a little zest, this cake is the one for you.

The lemon glaze is so sweet and tart; it’ll dazzle your tongue from the very first bite.

For an extra special treat, top it with a bit of heavy whipping cream and a sprinkling of blueberries.

11. Keto Berry Crisp

Coconut, cinnamon, raspberries, chopped pecans, blueberries, blackberries, sea salt, and vanilla – just listing the ingredients for this crisp makes my mouth water.

Since it’s full of fruit and has only seven net carbs per serving, you don’t have to feel guilty about eating it either.

12. Mixed Berries and Cream

As much as I love them, parfaits are pretty much a no-no on the keto diet.

These pretty desserts aren’t parfaits, but they’re the next best thing.

Best of all, they only take about 5 minutes to make! I enjoy starting the day with one when I wake up craving something sweet.

13. Keto Chocolate Bark

Keto chocolate bark is a study in contrast. It’s sweet and salty, smooth, creamy, and crunchy, and impressive and easy to make.

Something this good must take hours to fix, right? Nope! It takes 2 minutes. Yes – 2 minutes!

All you’ll have to do is melt your chocolate in the microwave and pour it over your roasted almonds.

Once the chocolate hardens, dust the whole thing with salt and break it into pieces.

14. Keto Cheesecake Fat Bombs

If you’ve been on the keto diet for a while, you probably already know about fat bombs. This recipe for them is one of my favorites.

They’re easy to make, but they take several hours to freeze, so be sure to plan ahead when making them.

15. Keto Peanut Butter Balls

Not only are these three-ingredient peanut butter balls keto-friendly, but they’re also vegan-friendly and paleo-compliant.

My favorite part about them is that you don’t have to cook them!

Just mix your ingredients, roll the mixture into balls, and refrigerate them for about 30 minutes.

16. Keto Fudge

Did I say the brownies were the most delicious, “just like normal” desserts on the list? That’s because I forgot about keto fudge!

This stuff is incredible, rich, decadent, and has less than one net carb per serving!!

That means you can eat the whole slab of fudge and only consume 12 carbs! Yes, please!

*Pro-tip: Don’t leave out the sea salt. Seriously. This fudge is phenomenal beyond belief, but it drops quickly to “very yummy” if you leave out the salt.

17. Keto Chocolate Frosty

Who needs a carb-filled Wendy’s frosty when you can whip up a keto-friendly version in 10 minutes?

All you’ll need is heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, unsweetened cocoa powder, almond butter, and liquid Stevia.

Mix it, stick it in the freezer, then enjoy!

18. Keto Blondies

Soft, chewy, and full of lots of gooey goodness, these blondies are chock full of deliciousness.

You’ll make them with relatively common keto ingredients – almond flour, baking powder, eggs, butter, monk fruit sweetener, and vanilla extract.

After that, though, you’ll add all the good stuff – chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, nuts, seeds, sea salt, and more!

There’s no limit to what you can stuff in these tasty treats.

19. Keto Hot Chocolate

If you don’t know how you’re going to make it through the winter without a few mugs of hot chocolate, this recipe for keto hot chocolate has you covered.

It takes 10 minutes to make and only requires five ingredients.

Before serving, add some whipped cream and a little cinnamon and nutmeg on top. Sea salt makes an excellent addition, too.

20. Keto Magic Cookies

Using only eight common keto ingredients, you can have these magic cookies ready for the oven in 5 minutes!

The flaked coconut and chocolate chips provide a rich, sweet flavor, and the chopped walnuts add a hint of salt.
They’re the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, and they’re an excellent midday pick-me-up.
